JOSH STRANG RACING
JOSH STRANG - GNCC CHAMPION!JOSH HAS TAKEN OUT THE 2010 GNCC CHAMPIONSHIP IN ST. CLAIRESVILLE, OHIO. STAY TUNED FOR AN IN-DEPTH RACE REPORT FROM VINCE, WHEN HE RETURNS FROM THE STATES
After winning the first four rounds, Josh has had mixed results, mostly good but a couple where he struggled with the conditions or one where a tree caused a major stop here and recover for 10 minutes! So now the series has three rounds remaining and Josh has a small buffer of 24 points over Charlie Mullens but with 90 points up for grabs in first place positions the race is still seriously on! Vince will be in the USA to support Josh for the final two rounds.
Josh is now living in California so he can ride more MX tracks to improve his general speed, the move means more flying but he said it's not much different to the hours of driving he did last year when he lived in North Carolina.
Josh is again riding for Suzuki USA off road team on the well proven RMZ450 and he said the 2010 bike is even better then his "worked over" 2009 bike. Josh is training hard and has received new Trek push bikes to use for part of his training programme.
This is Josh's forth year as a professional rider for the Suzuki team and in 2009 he earned the #2 plate in the GNCC series.
The GNCC rounds are generally held each other weekend and the "pro" classes are run on Sunday afternoons (USA EST) so we hear the results early Monday morning.
