MD - MADE IN ITALY ROAD RUNNER - This is the rally (safari) road book holder (sometimes called a "map roller"). The MD ROADRUNNER is used by the majority of Australian Safari and Dakar Competitors. This unit is 12 Volt DC and is very tough and reliable and spare parts are readily available. The road runner features remote thumb control for forward and reverse and an optional LED light kit for early starts or late finishing is available. |

ICO - MADE IN USA The ICO, VRL model is the trip computer of choice for most safari and rally competitors. The VRL has a large screen and easy to read digits - one display at a time. It has a battery cable to allow the VRL to hard wire to the bikes 12 volt system, but can run on its own with 2 x CR2032 batteries. It is a back lit unit so no other lighting is needed. The VRL has a remote thumb control to allow on the fly easy reset/adjustment and easy mode switching. The main displays show distance, current speed and time of day or stopwatch. Also available is total distance (non resetable) so the VRL can be used as replacement speedo. Many other functions are also built into the VRL and it comes complete with all hardware etc.. EXCEPT 2 x CR2032 batteries (available from your local chemist at about $3-00 each) | |
