About Us

The business was started in September 1977 with Vince Strang and Mac McCulloch as partners. The business grew quickly and needed several moves to accommodate the increase in stock and staff.

In 1989 Vince and Janelle Strang purchased Mac's share to become sole share holders in VINCE STRANG MOTORCYCLES & POWER EQUIPMENT. 
The business slogan is "get it right 1st time".

Vince Strang Motorcycles has always aimed to provide quality products and after sales service at a competitive price and this direction is still followed.
Our reputation for quality products and service is reflected in the major brands we stock and promote such as KAWASAKI, HONDA, SUZUKI, BETA and KYMCO motorcycles and utility vehicles and HUSQVARNA power equipment.

The staff pride themselves on depth and accuracy of their product knowledge and are willing to guide and advise customers when making that important purchase.

STAFF MEMBERS

Vince Strang is the dealer principal and has been riding and competing in off road events since 1970. Qualified as a motorcycle mechanic before starting the business in 1977. Hobbies include RC planes, shooting, bird watching, trail riding and an occasional pony express with daughter, Georgia. Might soon try some gliding! 

Bob Walsh is our salesman and previously was in the workshop for many years where he qualified as a motorcycle mechanic. Bob loves hunting, his lovely wife Tracy, their little boys Max, Roy and Ned and all his pig dogs. 

Thom Shaw is our front counter and junior sales assistant, has a massive love for Beta motorcycles. 

David Sutherland - Accessories and spare parts also our inhouse MX Legend S93

Pat Kenny has been with VSM for many years in spares and workshop. Pat does most of the fit-ups for our very popular DR650 packages but also concentrates on new unit assembling. Pat enjoys his Kawasaki Race quad and his ZXR1200R.

Paul "Moose" Bailey is in charge of the spares department and also concentrates on the accessories side of the business.
